Types of Specialized Containers
Refrigerated Containers (Reefers): These containers maintain specific temperature ranges, making them ideal for transporting perishable goods such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. Advanced reefers can also control humidity levels to ensure goods arrive in optimal condition.
Flat Rack Containers: Designed with collapsible sides, flat rack containers accommodate oversized or irregularly shaped cargo that cannot fit into standard containers. They are often used for heavy machinery, vehicles, or large industrial equipment.
Open Top Containers: Featuring a removable top or tarpaulin roof, open top containers allow for easy loading and unloading of goods from above. This design is beneficial for transporting goods that are tall or bulky, such as timber, machinery parts, or scrap metal.
